It is funny how Christmas vacation is supposed to be a 'break' from teaching, when in reality I find that I have been spending the last few days checking out pinterest for ideas AND realizing that I am not the only one! There are so many creative teachers with amazing ideas that I can't wait to try in Jan.
One of my go to sites for 6+1 writing trait lessons is Writing Fix. It is a great starting point for finding picture books for lessons. With a few tweaks to fit my learning outcomes, I have the "perfect" lesson for me.
